The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) is a retirement savings scheme for employees in India. It was established by the Employees’ Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, of 1952. The EPF is managed by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), which is a statutory body of the Government of India.

Employees who are members of the EPF can contribute a portion of their monthly salary toward their retirement savings. Employers also make contributions to the EPF on behalf of their employees. The EPF Payment Online accumulates over the years and can be used to provide financial security during retirement.

EPFO provides several online services for members, including checking their account balances and viewing their transaction history. Members can also use these online services to check the status of their claims, such as withdrawal and transfer requests.
